Frénéhard & Michaux Holding SAS acquires Altrex group

Frénéhard & Michaux will acquire a majority stake in the Altrex Group. Frénéhard & Michaux is a large French industrial group, whose roots (for more than 170 years) lie in metal products for the assembly of gutters and roofing.

Since the earlier takeovers of Tubesca / Comabi / Skyworks, Frénéhard & Michaux has focused more and more on 'working at height': namely (aluminium) access products and fall protection solutions often sold through dealer networks.

The product group 'working at height' represents a dominant share of Frénéhard & Michaux's total turnover. With the acquisition of Altrex Group as 'best in class' access supplier Frénéhard & Michaux strives for further growth in the field of 'working at height' both geographically and operationally.

After completion this offers the Altrex Group a very attractive opportunity to create a strong strategic and long term partnership that will benefit the future growth and continuity of the Altrex Group.

The management of the Altrex Group and its subsidiaries will remain unchanged. For (the majority of) the employees of the subsidiaries of the Altrex Group, there will be no changes to their daily activities. Striving for satisfied customers remains the task of all employees.
