Scaffolds Application 1 May 2023

How do I position the basic section of a rolling tower?

Positioning the basic section of a rolling tower depends on how high you want to erect the rolling tower. Thus, determine whether you want to achieve an even or uneven working height. First check whether all the scaffold parts for erecting a rolling tower are present. Check all the parts for damage. Damaged or incorrect parts must not be used. If all the material is approved and at hand you can start!

Basic section of a rolling tower with even working height

  • Start with a 4-rung frame.
  • Attach the wheels to the building frames, activate the brakes and direct the brakes outwards.
  • Place the horizontal braces under the first rung on the inner side of the upright.
  • Place the 7-rung frames and secure these on the 4-rung frames.
  • Place the Safe-Quick® GuardRails on the sixth rung with the instruction label facing inwards.
  • Install the basic section of the rolling tower spirit level by adjusting the wheels.
  • Mount the triangular stabilisers.

Basic section of a rolling tower with uneven working height

  • Start with a 7-rung frame.
  • Attach the wheels to the frames, activate the brakes and direct the brakes outwards.
  • Place the horizontal braces under the first rung on the inner side of the upright.
  • Place the Safe-Quick® GuardRails on the sixth rung with the instruction label facing inwards.

  • Install the basic section of the rolling tower spirit level by adjusting the wheels.
  • Mount the triangular stabilisers.

Assembling a folding tower with a one-metre-high platform
