How do you build a facade-free RS TOWER 5-S rolling tower with Safe-Quick®?

The RS TOWER 52 is the rolling tower that you can build, either indoors or outdoors. Another major advantage is that you can work facade-free with the Safe-Quick® GuardRail. No diagonal braces are needed, provided that the scaffolding is a maximum of 15 cm from the facade. The perfect solution for painters and facade cleaners. You can also connect the scaffolding to other items, such as a walkway or extension console. How do you build this rolling tower facade-free? We show you.

How to: RS TOWER 5 with Safe-Quick® façade free assembly

If you are planning to work at an uneven working height, then start with a 7-rung frame. Are you going to work at an even height? Then start with a 4-rung frame. Next, place four wheels in the frames.

How do you build a facade-free RS TOWER 5-S rolling tower with Safe-Quick®?

Put the frames on their wheels. Place horizontal braces under the first rung on the vertical upright. Placing a horizontal brace is very important for the stability of the scaffold. Therefore, make sure that you secure the horizontal braces from the inside to the outside. This creates the most stability. Then turn the wheels out and lock the brakes.

Place the Safe-Quick Guardrails® on the top rung. Make sure that the instruction label is facing inwards. This allows you to read the instructions during construction and dismantling. Then fit a temporary platform. When fitting the platform it is important that you fit the red hooks first. A sticker on the arms of the Safe-Quick® shows which rung you need to fit the platform on. Ensure the basic selection is level.

Position the scaffold a maximum of 15 centimeters from the wall. Then turn the wheels outwards and lock the brakes.

Mount the triangular stabilisers. Secure the upright under the 7th rung and the beam between the 1st and 2nd rung. Adjust it so that the ends touch the ground.

Get on to the (temporary) platform and fit a 7-rung frame.

Secure the frame with the locking pin. This is important for the safety of the tower.

Place the Safe-Quick GuardRails® on the top rung with the instruction label facing inwards. Make sure there is room for the platform next to it. So fit one Safe-Quick GuardRail® on the side of the rung and one Safe-Quick Guardrail® in the middle of the rung. Fit a platform with trap door next to the middle Safe-Quick GuardRail®. When fitting the platform it is important that you fit the red hooks first. Get on to the platform through the hatch. Repeat these steps until the desired platform/working height is reached.

Note: to finish, place the toe board holders and toe boards on the highest platform. This prevents your tools from falling off the platform. The rolling tower is now ready for use.
